Gun Split Close Pats – PA F Slide

Make Shift Screen:
1. Wheel Route HB1 (Triangle)
2. (Optional) Streak WR1 (Square)
This play was effective last year, but because everyone could hot route normal screen plays, this play was used less often. That all changed this year because now you can not hot route normal screen plays. So – this make shift screen fills in perfectly! Square, Circle and Triangle act as great downfield blockers as we flood the left side of the screen. This play is also nice because almost every effective play out of the Gun Split Close is geared towards the strong side of the formation.
